Ever since I was a child, I have had an interest in fashion and style. Being creative and expressing myself through clothes and accessories is a passion of mine. Designing this collection has allowed me to play around with my creativity and given me confidence as a designer. I hope you will like the result as much as I do!
Over the last few years, sustainability has become more and more relevant, even for me. I want to know how we; the younger generations can ensure a prosperous and diverse environment for the coming generations. My thoughts on sustainability, and especially the idea that we at Atelier Torbjörn Tillander can make a difference by being more transparent with our processes, has inspired me to create this collection.
Every piece in this collection is handmade by our talented goldsmiths at our workshop in central Helsinki. I have hand selected the very best materials for this collection; fine gold, ecologically sourced Vietnamese akoya pearls and ethically mined sapphires from Ilakaka, Madagascar. I have chosen suppliers that share the same values of sustainability and quality as I do. We want to be open about the whole production process with you, which is the meaning behind the name, Transparency.
